hsy Racing to take on The Bend in Endurance opener
hsy Racing heads to South Australia this weekend for the first endurance race of the Australian GT championship. Ash Samadi teams up with Dylan O’Keeffe aboard the hsy Racing Audi R8 GT3 LMS at the brand-new The Bend Motorsport Park in Tailem Bend.
In a unique format, the feature race will take place over both Saturday and Sunday, with the race kicking off late on Saturday afternoon, pausing at 6:20pm and re-commencing at 10:45am on Sunday morning for the remaining 2 hours.
After a disappointing start to the season at the Australian Grand Prix last month, the team will be looking to bounce back up the results sheets with a strong performance.
Youngster Dylan O’Keeffe jumps back behind the wheel of a GT car for the first time since the Bathurst 12 hour, and after a strong start to his Carrera Cup campaign will be setting a hot pace.
In addition to the Australian GT cars, their will be a host of other categories hitting the track throughout the weekend in what will be The Bend’s first major weekend of racing.
