hsy Racing Set to Tackle Sandown This Weekend
hsy Racing’s Ash Samadi heads to Sandown in Melbourne’s South East for round 3 of the Australian GT Championship this weekend. Featuring on the Sandown Nationals Calendar for the second time this season, the Australian GT cars will feature in 3 races throughout the weekend.
Ash currently sits 15thin the Australian GT Championship standings after a strong round at The Bend Motorsport Park last month. He will be looking to continue his rise up the championship ‘ladder’ this weekend, at a track that historically has suited the Audi R8 LMS GT3.
The cars will first hit the circuit on Friday for two practice sessions before qualifying and Race 1 take centre stage on Saturday. Races 2 & 3 will take place on Sunday.
In addition to the Australia GT cars, multiple other classes including the Porsche GT3 Cup, Radical Cup and Prototype Series (among others) complete an action-packed schedule of racing.
