ATE Ceramic Brakes won first place in the prestigious ADAC brake test award

Brakes have an important job to do, that’s for sure, but ATE Brakes have more to offer, and ATE’s Ceramic range of brake pads offer a new generation of low abrasion
brake pads that keep wheel rims looking cleaner for longer.
Thanks to the special pad formula, ATE Ceramic Brakes have less abrasion, which not only reduces wear, but also benefits the environment, and wheel rims, by expelling less dust into the atmosphere.
At the same time, they offer excellent braking performance and maximum safety, which left a big impression during the comprehensive and prestigious ADAC brake test, where paired with ATE’s Original Brake Discs, they took out first place, with more than a full point above the nearest competitor.
The comprehensive ADAC brake test compared a range of alternative aftermarket brake pads and disc combinations with the original equipment on a Mark 7 Volkswagen Golf. The testers looked at a range of different categories including safety, service life and environmental aspects, with both on-the-bench tests using two different braking cycles (moderate and high stress) while the driving tests focused on the influence of the various brake systems on the driving behaviour.
The ATE range of Ceramic Brakes came out on top, scoring well above the competition in terms of wear whilst the braking distance is on par with the original equipment. These test results underscore the promise of the ATE brand – standing for the same high quality that you get in original equipment, their commitment to innovation and sustainability – which includes products for the aftermarket.
So next time your customers are due for brake pads, consider the range of ATE Ceramic Brakes and see the difference for yourself.
